When I am not teaching, my husband and miniature longhaired dachshund (Tasha), like to spend time relaxing in our mountain cabin or kayaking on the New River. I have undertaken a project of trying to restore an old family quilt, and I also enjoy yard work (when there are not too many weeds!)
